The UnChosen Universe has been sitting for a couple years as I dealt with major surgery, a couple of cross country moves, and a few other things I’ll keep private. It still has my heart and is never far from my thoughts.
Right now The UnChosen Universe has two titles, “A General’s Claim” and “The Queen’s Enforcer” which are linked at the very bottom of this page.
Starting June 2025, I will be returning to The UnChosen, finishing the manuscript for “Sacrifice” which is set directly after the last scene in “The General’s Claim”. This will be a standalone romantasy title: MMM, masters/slave, war captive/ vampire lord/necromancer, chosen family. I can’t wait to share it with all of you. Advanced chapters will be available on REAM over the summer. Publication date is tentatively set for December, depending on scheduling time with my editor.
For those who have read and loved The Queen’s Enforcer and are tired of waiting for the next installment, I apologize. My contemporary romance’s success gave me the resources to fund a project of this size, and there are now more ways to directly market a romantasy novel.
This November, after sending Sacrifice to my editor, I will return to writing the sequel to The Queen’s Enforcer which will include continue Jarvis, Telos, and Damascus’s storyline, with references and/or characters from The General’s Claim and Sacrifice.
It has always been my goal to release illustrated versions of The UnChosen books. However, The Queen’s Enforcer is too long for me to include illustrations or any of the beautiful extras we’ve all come to enjoy and recognize in Kickstarter projects and on social media. I already have to shrink the words to a the smallest font just to get it printed in one volume. It’s not a beautiful physical reading experience.
The Queen’s Enforcer was also written in a time when I was not as confident in writing spice for a wider audience. The market has changed and as I sit with the epic, I know I censored more than I should have. But I literally cannot add any more text and still print it in one volume.
For these reasons, I am revising and separating The Queen’s Enforcer into multiple volumes. The plot will not change, but I will be going back and including scenes that were censored or given a delicate hand. This will allow for artwork and whatever else you and I find fitting. Can you imagine a full page print of Zaphial in her court?
Thank you for your patience. While I will continue to write and release contemporary romance, I can’t stay away from the power of fantasy and forces that drive Jarvis, Telos, Damascus, and their friends, allies, and enemies.

A General’s Claim: a novella
Weakness sits on the throne of Albion. Without a strong sovereign to protect Albion from her so-called allies, Lord Hansborn hatches a plot with the dowager queen to create a force of men who can fight, not only other men, but demons, vampires, shifters, warlocks, and necromancers. The future of Hansborn’s daughter, second in-line to the throne, depends on his success. But his men will be tested sooner, rather than later.
Orphaned and raised by the Church, Jarvis wants nothing more than to join the ranks of the brothers and holy fathers, serving others with his heart and hands. But the day he asks, he is denied and sent to fight. But Hansborn may see him as more than bait for the vampire lord they face.
If only they can both survive.

The Queen’s Enforcer
The Church of Rome rules the human population of the Continent with an iron hand. Beyond the borders of its influence are night children: vampires, werewolves, shifter, nymphs, incubi, djinn, and others. As steam engines begin to chug across new-laid track, demons appear.
In the shadow of the Church, young Queen Amillia of Albion clings to power, relying on her enforcer Jarvis to keep her advisors satisfied and her enemies at bay. But as each day marches forward, the powers around her demand she marry, and give away her cousin Elizabeth to be wed.
Driven to the edge by dreams of his dead lover, Shane, Jarvis exists only to carry out his orders from Church and Crown, to kill all non-human beings on sight. Resistant to magics, he brings battle against the demons and night children other soldiers dare not face, including the blood-thirsty Blue Death pirates. But sneers and whispers are building behind his back as he defeats enemies no human man should be able to survive.
The dragon Damascus, summoned by Zapheal, flies to Aquitaine. The Church is moving against her people, ready to eliminate the last bastion of night children. Abandoned by the other elder vampires, Zapheal contemplates a final stand with the remnants of her allies.
Captured into slavery, Telos, a snow leopard shifter, struggles to survive. Until the day that the Lord Inquisitor Melchizedek murders his owner and takes him to Albion, planning to lure Telos’s adopted father, the Admiral of the Blue Deaths to his doom. Fighting for the man who saved him as a child, the best that Telos can hope for is a quick death.
That is, until he meets Jarvis. On the edge of destruction, Telos asks the question that will shake thrones and awaken legends, leaving Jarvis no choice but to face the answers.
For mature audiences only. This is a full 740 page epic fantasy novel.
